How to Place A Sheet Metal Order
Step 1. Account Setup
Before you start placing sheet metal orders with JLCCNC, it is a good idea to create an account first, as this will help you with a smoother user experience as well as file management.
Step 2. Preparing Your Design Files & Getting a Quote
To Sheet Metal Fabrication Quote Online for custom sheet metal parts on the JLCCNC platform, you need to supply a 3D CAD file. If your parts require thread, silkscreen, welding, tolerances or other custom specifications, please be sure to upload a 2D drawing with clear markings for all requirements.
Please note that the automatic quotation generated by the system is for reference only. The final price shall be subject to the approval of our manual review.

Currently, JLCCNC supports the following file formats:
3D (Required): STEP (.step, .stp)
2D: pdf, dwg, dxf
Compressed files: zip, rar.
Step 3. Configuring Parameters
The quotation page is where you can modify the product parameters you require, including details of quantity, materials, finishes, and more. For more information on sheet metal fabrication guidelines and supported materials, please refer to Sheet Metal Fabrication Guidelines and Materials Supported in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
Step 4. Fulfilling Ordering Information
Please fill in company-related information if placing an order in the company's name, or personal information if placing it as an individual.
Step 5. Submit Your Order
Review Before Payment
You can pay after your file review is approved. File review is completed in 10 minutes to 4 hours on working days(Mon-Sat 9 am-6 pm(GMT+8)). Your design will not be put into production until we receive payment.
When this page appears on your screen, it means that your order was submitted successfully. Click View Quote Status to check your order status. Meanwhile, please reconfirm your order details via the Order Details button.
Step 6. Click the "Pay" Button
Once your order has passed manual review, the Pay button will be activated automatically. After confirming that your order information is correct, click the "Pay" button to proceed with the payment process.
Step 7. Payment Options
Currently, we mainly support the following payment methods:
JLC Balance(How to Transfer Money to JLCPCB Balance)/ PayPal / Credit Card
